My Refuge In The Concrete Jungle

I am an inherently heterogeneous creature; from ethnicities to cultural habits, like a patchwork quilt sewn together from everything I experience and everyone I meet.

That’s why I’m all about big cities and their impersonal, cosmopolitan frenzi, but I also can’t live without the smell of earth and the welcoming freshness of thick, trunked trees.

So, my absolute favorite spot in São Paulo is Ibirapuera Park. It’s where I go to recharge and feel that connection to nature.

I love finding a nice shady tree to chill under while I watch people, birds, and ducks go by. I usually hang out by the lake near gate 10.

From there, I get this amazing view of the park with the city skyline in the background.
