You can have all the money and success in the world,
but if you are unhappy, what’s the point?
- Knowledge is power, especially when it comes to self-knowledge that promotes emotional healing and personal growth.
- The more you understand yourself, the more you realize there is still to discover, which makes the journey super exciting.
- As you gain this deeper understanding, life takes on greater meaning, and your relationships with yourself and others become more honest, healthy, and fulfilling.
This is a path of no return!
🎯 Those who embark on the journey of self-discovery and exploration will not settle for anything less than a richer experience.
💖 With the intention of helping you, I’ve made a list of everything that most hindered my healing journey, so yours can be smoother and more enjoyable.
🌟 Let’s get started!
🧠 BEHAVIORS THAT UNDERMINED MY HEALING JOURNEY
1. **Disregarding my feelings and needs**
My excessive focus on the outside world led to:
- Insecurity
- Confusion
- Fear
- Resentment toward my vulnerabilities
Seeking answers only externally made me disconnect from my inner world and be overly reliant on others.
This prevented me from developing the self-confidence that comes from being attuned to my own feelings and intuition.
2. **Normalizing constant anxiety and stress**
When everyone around me shared the same unhealthy patterns, I accepted constant anxiety and stress as a norm, impacting my overall well-being.
3. **Rejecting my contradictions**
Struggling to accept that I could be both strong and vulnerable caused endless internal conflict.
I wasted so much time and energy trying to embody only one aspect of myself, missing the beauty of being multifaceted.
4. **Treating symptoms instead of root causes**
I used to live as if I was made of only mind and body.
So, whenever I had a physical symptom, I wouldn’t see the connections between my symptoms and unresolved feelings or traumas.
🧠 Overtime, I discovered that:
👉 My digestion issues were tied to my struggle to process emotions and face reality.
👉 My hyperactivity arose from trying to control life and others through constant overthinking.
👉 My anxiety stemmed from a difficulty in being present without judgment.
5. **Underestimating my ability to handle pain**
I once believed that confronting my pain would destroy me.
Whenever I got too close to my wounds, I instinctively ran away from them, which only delayed my healing process.
6. **Clinging to a victim identity**
Blaming others for my suffering gave a false sense of empowerment and led me to waste precious time in rumination instead of seeking healing within myself.
7. **Being judgmental**
Harshly judging myself and others caused me to miss the essential truth:
Everyone is doing their best given their level of consciousness, and the “should haves” we cling to are mere illusions.
8. **Rejecting the current reality**
It took time for me to realize that true change begins with acceptance.
Before healing, we must acknowledge and embrace our challenges.
One of the best things about mistakes is the chance to learn from our own
and avoid making others’.
So, I hope this list helps you on your path. 🌸

Welcome to the club! Healing really is an ongoing journey, not just a destination. It’s like hitting the gym—if you stop working out and let those good habits slip, you can lose progress faster than you think! Thank you for coming by, Simon. 😊

So true….Sometimes the hardest thing is just sitting with the pain instead of running from it, but it’s worth it… healing isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being real with ourselves.
