Inner Compass Gem #19 – Debunking Myths of Anxiety

🎯 Let’s be real—healing isn’t easy. And half the time, it’s not the pain that stops us.

It’s the fears, doubts, and outdated beliefs we’ve picked up along the way.

💖 If you’ve ever felt unsure about starting your emotional healing journey, you’re not alone.

💡 How about clearing up some of those myths to make your journey feel a little lighter?

THE MYTH ABOUT ANXIETY

“I Should Just Get Over It.”

⚠️ Anxiety often stems from unresolved experiences or chronic stress. Practices like breathwork, mindfulness, and therapy help rewire your stress response.

🧠 Shift Your Mindset: Healing anxiety is not about “getting over it”—it’s about learning to understand, soothe, and work with it.

The Truth: Be patient with your nervous system.

Healing is a journey, not a finish line. Your progress is valid, even if it’s not linear.

  1. That healing is a journey can be a trying reality. We want to reach the finish line. We want the pain and anxiety to end. The struggle can exhaust us. Patience w/ ourselves is key. No one’s life is “perfect” in the sense that it is stress free. In fact, the struggle defines many of us. We become more empathetic toward the struggles of others and grow stronger, ourselves.
