I like this kind of thing – mindset is everything. When bad things happen in a day I’m tempted to say it’s one of those days. I stop myself now and say – nope, it’s not one of those days. Some bad shit has gone down and now it’s going to be good. It works. I think are you sure this is true is often one that should be asked.

Cancelling a negative thought as soon as it pops up works very well for me too.

These phrases do help us put things in perspective, and reclaim our power, even as we are bombarded by negative inner thoughts or external stimuli. God, of course, is far greater than we. Here, therefore, are a few phrases from Scripture I find helpful:

Great post! #4 sorta resonated with me… along the lines of “this, too, shall pass.” I guess it’s just a matter of toughing it out until things change—or the new normal becomes bearable 😎
